Tuesday's Ear Worm

And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back, So shake him off!

This song has been speaking volumes to me for the past 24 hours. I can't begin to put into words just how the words touch deep into my heart, but I urge anyone who's in the thick of a rough time of ANY kind to just belt this song at the top of their lungs.

And given half the chance would I take any of it back,
It's a final mess but it's left me so empty. It's always darkest before the dawn.

Thanks so much to The M Half for this fabulous button that she created on a whim for me (while unknowingly to her, I had Shake it Off on repeat all day yesterday.) She's a fellow blogger, yogi and soul sister, so go check her out and get in on her current project, 30 days of Yoga. :)

  1. Believe it or not, I'd never heard that song before! I can see how it can be an earworm - both intentional and not. Thanks for mentioning me; I love that button. ;-)

I think I'm caught up on posts now and you should know I think of you often.

    Sending peace and strength,
    The M Half

  2. That button kills me, I LOVE IT!!!

It makes my heart smile to know that my blog is being read! I had a different blog before this one that I kept under wraps and I made the realization that the only reason I kept it semi-private was to keep certain eyes from reading it, but in the process, I was keeping my heart and soul out of it. And then "Domestic Mischief" happened. I will sloooowly be reintroducing some of my older posts from "That Other Blog" into "Domestic Mischief" as circumstances realign so to speak. I've already started with my flight post from last week.

It also humbles my heart knowing that I'm not alone, and that there are others out there going through hard times as well. It's NOT just me and my family. I take to heart all the peace and strength sent our way. As Florence so beautifully reminds us, "It's always darkest before dawn." I know things will get better, maybe not easier, but it will get better. It has to!

Thank you again for being a good bloggy friend to me. :)

  3. We are huge Florence fans in this house! Love it and I hope things get better for you soon.

PS: Do you like Mumford & Sons? I get the same ear worm situation with them.

  4. We LOVE Mumford & Sons!!! We're bigger fans of No Doubt though, I've been their biggest fan since Middle School.
